COLD BREW INFORMATION:
Cold brew coffee is a refreshing and smooth alternative to traditional hot coffee. It is made by steeping coarsely ground coffee beans in cold water for an extended period, typically 12 to 24 hours. The slow extraction process results in a coffee concentrate that is less acidic and bitter than hot-brewed coffee, with a naturally sweet and chocolaty flavor.
Cold brew coffee is versatile and can be enjoyed in a variety of ways. It can be served over ice, diluted with water or milk, or mixed with other ingredients to create delicious coffee-based beverages. Because of its concentrated form, cold brew coffee can be stored in the fridge for several days and easily prepared whenever you want a cool and refreshing caffeine boost.
COLD BREW DIRECTIONS
Recipe: 1 cup whole coffee beans to 4 cups water
Coarsely grind your favorite coffee beans (texture like course cornmeal)
Add the coffee grounds to a large jar or container.
Pour cold water over the coffee, stir with spoon making sure that all the grounds are fully submerged and evenly saturated with water.
Cover the jar or container and place it in the refrigerator.
Allow the coffee to steep in the fridge for 12 to 24 hours, depending on how strong you like your coffee.
Once the coffee has finished steeping, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove the grounds.
