Grown in the Antigua region within the Highland Huehue at altitudes of up to 6,500 feet, this coffee originates from an extremely remote location. Due to the isolated nature of Huehuetenango, each coffee producer is responsible for processing their own beans. The abundance of rivers and streams allows for coffee washing and milling to take place virtually anywhere. Our Huehuetenango coffee is from Zaculeu, named after the pre-Columbian Mayan archaeological site in Huehuetenango. This coffee is a blend of fine coffee sourced from a select group of small producers.
