DeAnna married Daryl Wise in 2023, and they welcomed their first baby, a precious son named Dominique Finley, in December of 2024. They have been enjoying this new chapter as a family of three, and watching their little one grow faster than they were ready for! They live in the finger lakes of New York, along a quiet back road that is perfect for walking.
DeAnna has a gifts love language, and often blesses others out of that. Sharing time, food, a latte, flowers, or putting together a basket packed full of goodies to give to someone, brings her a lot of joy.
DeAnna gave her heart to Jesus at the young age of 12 years. This month (April) marks 10 years since that wonderful day! She is so thankful to God for His forgiveness and love through those years and is grateful to know that He won’t leave her in the next 10 years and beyond.
She loves to bring God into her everyday life by taking time to notice and appreciate the little things He has done for her. DeAnna enjoys getting a small bouquet of flowers to sit on the table or counter to remind her of the Creator, or houseplants placed around her house. She enjoys growing succulents especially.
DeAnna was anxious about stepping into the role of a mom because of the many stories she had heard about moms dealing with postpartum depression, and asked God to help her focus on the positive and just take one day at a time. Since the birth of her son 3 months ago, she has been relieved to have found the faithfulness of God in answering her prayers and helping her to have a good and happy three months with her baby. She finds that when she dwells on the future, life as a mom can feel overwhelming, but by finding joy in each day, she can feel the presence of Jesus walking with her each moment.
Daryl and DeAnna love to go four wheeling together in the summer. They have access to miles of paved roadways where they can ride for hours and enjoy the great outdoors. Another way they enjoy being together is in the Combine. Daryl owns his own John Deere Combine, and DeAnna loves to ride along. She is hoping their little boy will enjoy it as well as he grows older!
