Sherri Mullet lives in Northwestern PA and has been married for six years to a wonderful man named Steven. They have two children, DeAndre (4) and Keana (1).
As a family, they are learning how to be a “blessing” so instead of telling their children to be nice or asking them ”Are you obeying?” They instead ask, “Are you being a blessing?”
That switch has helped them all to focus on what’s important and that is being a blessing to those around them. One thing the Lord has been showing Sherri recently is how much selfishness there still is in her heart. She started a new morning routine that does not involve “me or quiet” time first but instead begins with feeding and dressing her children, and the change has been such a blessing! She still spends time with Jesus once they are fed, dressed, and playing nicely, but by taking the focus off her own needs and serving her family instead, it has made mornings smoother and more joyful.
Steven and Sherri and their family enjoy hiking in the woods or hunting together. Yes, they take both kiddos along! They have an enclosed hunting blind and the children love it!
As a mama, Sherri finds that relaxing looks quite different than it used to. If she does get a chance to relax, she chooses either reading, or running. Running doesn’t sound relaxing, but somehow it gives her mind a reset and she feels rejuvenated afterward.
Sherri also enjoys promoting Lemongrass Spa products as well as photography and crocheting. She loves to make coffee for people and has even made a little side business out of it! She takes orders for coffee drinks, and they either get picked up at her house, or she delivers them! It’s a great way to do something she loves and also bless someone else’s day.
Sherri used to deal with stomach ulcers from drinking coffee, but after she switched to Mama Java, she found that it was much better on the stomach! She can drink coffee daily now, without ulcer trouble, and for that alone she is so thankful for Mama Java Coffee, and uses it for all her coffee orders as well!
